Dilek means "wish" and this dog is a wish come true for anyone wanting a sweet, well-socialized canine. Whether racing through the woods with her girlfriends or wrestling with her buddy, Maço, she is a happy, gentle spirit, who is both playful and accomodating. When you visit the sanctuary and meet a pretty, black dog with a dreamy expression in her eyes, that's Dilek. She will not push to the front of free dogs who want attention. She will bide her time to get what she wants: your love. If you are sitting at the sanctuary after things have settled down, and feel a gentle nudge at your back, it is probably Dilek asking politely if it is her turn to be pet. Dilek suffered injury that was nursed and healed by Defne and Ahmet and she is grateful for the help she received. She is a pacifist, not a troublemaker; a lover, not a fighter. She loves every person and every dog and they love her. Come visit and fall in love with Dilek!

Tatlı, iyi sosyalleşmiş bir köpek isteyenlerin dileğini gerçekleştirebilecek bir köpek olan Dilek kız arkadaşlarıyla ormanda koşarken de, arkadaşı Maço ile güreşirken de mutlu bir köpek aynı zamanda nazik ruhlu bir oyuncu. Barınma merkezini ziyaret ettiğinizde hülyalı gözlerle bakan tatlı siyah bir köpek görürseniz bilin ki o Dilek'tir. İlgi isteyen ve serbest dolaşan köpeklerin arasında öne atılmayacaktır ancak istediği şey olan sevgiyi almak için doğru zamanı kollar. Siz barınma merkezinde işleri yoluna koymuş otururken Dilek sizi sırtınızdan nazikçe dürterek kendisinin sevilme zamanının geldiğini size hatırlatacaktır. Dilek bir keresinde yaralanmıştı ve bu süreçte ona bakan ve iyileştiren Defne ve Ahmet'e yardımları için minnettar. O barışçıl bir köpek, sorun yaratan değil. Çatışmaktansa dost olmayı yeğler. Her insanı ve köpeği sever tıpkı onların da Dilek'i sevdiği gibi. Gelin, görün ve Dilek'e aşık olun!
