WHO CAN BECOME A FOSTER FAMILY?
Whether you are an individual, a group of friends or colleagues, or an institution, this program offers an ideal opportunity to people who would like to have a dog, but cannot keep one at home; families who are considering adopting a pet and want to spend time finding the perfect match; or residents who simply want to improve their community by contributing to the health and well-being of stray animals.

for sixty-six lovable dogs.

HOW ARE FOSTER FAMILIES INVOLVED?
As a Foster Family, you will make a monthly donation of 200 TL per month for the dog of your choice. If you are unable to visit the dogs in person, one can be selected for you, but you are invited to the sanctuary to meet them all and select the one that is right for you. Once you are comfortable with each other, you can walk your dog or groom its fur and shower it with love and attention. Some of our Foster Families are unable to visit the sanctuary, some do not even live in Turkey, but with your donation, you can still join the program and make a significant contribution to the well-being of your dog. You will receive regular updates on your dog’s condition, progress, and current events at the sanctuary. Your name will be engraved on a plaque to be mounted on your dog’s kennel, and published in the monthly BÜMED magazine, along with photos of you with your dog, with your permission.

Please understand that we cannot accept cash donations under any circumstances. There are tax advantages available for institutional donations to our non-profit foundation.
