This wonderful dog has a compelling personality equal to the charm of his name. He is dashing, athletic, excitable, loveable and disarming. A water dog, he loves to swim in the Bosporus, do laps in the BUPaws swimming pool, and paddle in his extra-large water bucket. He’s a lover and there is a bench in his section where volunteers can sit to shower him with the affection he craves. He is often misunderstood because the overwhelming joy he experiences when he sees people drives him to jump up on his hind legs. His size and strength make this alarming and, if he accidentally knocks you down, he’ll try to cover you with kisses. For this reason, he has to be tethered because he would otherwise go in search of affection from people who might be terrified by his well-meaning approach. This earned him the nickname Delimanyak (Crazy Maniac), but his foster parents bestowed upon him a noble name that is worthy of his dynamic personality.

Atılgan, atletik, kolay heyecanlanan, cana yakın ve kendini sevdiren bir köpek olan Mustafa Carlos ayrıca bir su köpeÄŸi, BoÄŸaz'da yüzmeyi, BU Paws'ın havuzunda kulaç atmayı ve devasa su kovalarının içinde oynamayı çok seviyor. Mustafa Carlos o kadar sevecen ki, baÄŸlı tutulduÄŸu yerde gönüllülerin oturup ona muhtaç olduÄŸu ilgiyi gösterebilmesi için bir bank bulunuyor. Ä°nsanları gördüÄŸünde sevinç göstergesi olarak arka ayaklarının üstüne kalkması bazı zıyaretçiler tarafından yanlış anlaşılabiliyor. Boyutları ve gücü ürkütücü olabilse de, eÄŸer kazara sizi yere düÅŸürürse öpücüklere boÄŸacaktır. Ä°ÅŸte bu nedenle baÄŸlı tutulması gerekiyor yoksa iyi niyetli de olsa ilgi göstermek amacıyla insanlara yaklaşımı onları endiÅŸelendirebiliyor. Bu durum ona Delimanyak denmesine sebep olmuÅŸ olsa da koruyucu ailesi onun adını dinamik kiÅŸiliÄŸine yakışan yeni ismiyle deÄŸiÅŸtirdi.
